If you want to share your thoughts and knowledge with people then starting through a blog is a great idea. So before starting a blog make sure that you have very good knowledge in a particular field or you have the ability to learn and research new things.
In the beginning, I would not suggest you spend or invest some money to start your own blog, as there are many options available in the market to start a blog such as WordPress.org, blogger.com, Wix, tumbler, wordpress.com etc.
In this article, we will discuss step by step how you can start your blog with Blogger for free. But if you have enough (3,000–10,000) money to spend, you can go to wordpress.org. Nowadays WordPress is more popular for blogging, but every blogging platform has its pros and cons which we will discuss in another article.
1. Login/Signup Gmail Account
Yes, we need a gmail account before creating a blog on Blogger because Blogger is also a product of google itself. If you have an account on gmail, then login, otherwise you can go to Gmail and create your account. Gmail signup is very easy, just you have to fill details given in the image below.
2. Search Blogger.com
After logging in to gmail, go to Google and search Blogger.com, after that we will get to see some such search results which are shown in the image. We have to click on the link with Blogger.com as we can see in the image.
3. Create Blog
After clicking on blogger.com, we will see a new interface that is shown below in the image, further we need to click on the "create blog" link and choose your corresponding gmail account.

4. Choose Blog Name/Title
Now it's time to give our blog the name or title. As you can see in the image how we name the blog.
Enter your blog Name/title and simply click on the Next button.
5. Choose Blog Domain/URL
Now we have to give a URL or domain name in our blog, by which name we will search on Google. Whenever you blogger creates your free blog, you also get the subdomain along with the blog URL, which puts blogspot.com at the end of your blog URL (example: www.yourblogname.blogspot.com).
Blogger is a free publishing platform, while BlogSpot is a free domain service provider. They're both owned by Google and are used together on the Blogger platform.
Enter your blog URL like this and click on the Save button. Your blog is ready.
6. Access Blog
We have created our blog and have completed other important steps as well. So now how do we access our blog? After completing step 5, you will have got to see the interface shown in the image below and after going to "View Blog" and clicking on it, you will be able to see your blog. A default theme by Blogger has been automatically uploaded to your blog. You can learn how to upload a new theme in blogger.
Your blog will look something like this at the end if you haven't uploaded any posts yet and the theme is the default.
